The large metal curry comb is a sturdy piece of grooming kit, designed to be used to clean the body brush with, not to use directly on the horse. A body brush will quickly accumulate a lot of dirt and grease, and every few strokes on the horse, the brush should be scraped across the metal curry comb to clean it.

Once full, the curry comb can be tapped on a solid surface to remove the dirt and grease easily. Constructed using a strong metal head on a varnished wooden handle.
