This magnificent pendant boasts a large, pale gold Citrine which has been cut to resemble a Witch’s heart and weighs over 50ct. It glistens with many expertly cut facets and has a crisp radiant beauty that reflects the warm glow of the sun.
Witch’s heart Jewellery was popular during the 18th-19th Century with Lovers gifting each other with a witch’s heart as a love token to symbolise that they had been bewitched with love.
The Citrine is held securely in an 18ct Yellow Gold claw setting with Gold loop at the top. It has been beautifully preserved from the early 20th Century and would make a beautiful gift for a loved one.
